MegaStar's Unofficial World Cup site gives you a runaround all the swanky new stadiums in Germany this summer:

The World Cup will get underway on June 9 at Munich's new state of the art Allianz Arena.

The 59,000 capacity venue cost 280million euros to build and was opened in May 2005 with a friendly between its joint owners Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich.

Although the stadium is new, World Cup football is a familiar sight to Munich's older residents, as the Olympiastadion was the venue for Germany's 2-1 victory against the Netherlands in the final of the 1974 tournament.

The opening game between Germany and Costa Rica will be the first of six to take place in Munich.

The group matches between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia, Brazil and Australia and Ivory Coast and Serbia & Montenegro follow, before a second phase game between the winner of Germany's Group A and the runner-up from England's group B.

The World Cup will leave Munich on July 5 with the second semi-final.
